Curing light shield
Insufficient
protection
during
light
curing
is a
health
hazard
to the
eyes.
The
effects
of
exposure
to
short-wave
UV light
typically
manifest
only
later in
life.
Traditional
curing
light
shields
are
often
inadequate
in terms
of both
coverage
and
material,
which
means
that
hazardous
light
reaches
the eyes
as
diffused
radiation
and
directly
through
the
shield.
The MO
Optics®
WING
curing
light
shield
has been
designed
in close
co-operation
with
dentists
and its
performance
has been
tested
and
approved
by
NIOM
(Nordic
Institute
of
Dental
Materials).
